Group Piano Classes

Give your child a joyful first step into piano.

Children are usually ready for private piano lessons around age 6 or 7. For younger students, especially ages 5–7 who are not quite ready for one-on-one lessons, this group program is a great way to introduce piano basics in a fun, structured classroom setting.

Students learn music theory, ear training, sight reading, ensemble playing, piano technique, rhythm drills, and beginner composition and improvisation. Each level runs for 4 months with 1 lesson per week every Saturday morning, and each lesson is 45 minutes.

Students over age 7 may begin private piano lessons without taking this course. This program is designed for our young learners, and after graduating Level 2, students are fully ready to begin private piano lessons. Classes have a maximum of 6 students, and all required books are included.
